Steve Cain – Chef de Cuisine El Gaucho Bellevue
Before making his transition to El Gaucho Bellevue when it opened in the fall of 2008, Steve Cain worked at another Mackay Restaurant, the Waterfront Seafood Grill as Executive Chef. Cain was instrumental in the creation of the restaurants seasonal menus and signature dishes and undoubtedly brought this same creativity to El Gaucho Bellevue. His knowledge has guided the first ever El Gaucho lunch menu, with his range from vegan soups to wild-game toppings for their signature flatbreads.
Prior to joining El Gaucho Bellevue location, Cain spent 22 years in some of Seattle’s most renowned restaurants: Chandlers Crab House on South Lake Union, Daniels Broiler in Bellevue and Leschi, Entros on Lake Union and Henrys Off Broadway.
