Alder Yarrow
Since January of 2004, Alder Yarrow has been publishing Vinography.Com, where he writes daily about wines, the wine world, and good restaurants around the globe. San Francisco Magazine calls Alder “the wine world’s brightest cyberstar” and Vinography is considered to be one of the world’s leading wine blogs.
Started as a personal project to keep track of Alder’s notes about food and wine, Vinography has grown a large and devoted international readership. The blog was most recently awarded the trophy for Best Wine Blog as part of the 2008 American Wine Blog Awards.
Vinography concentrates on sharing the stories, the people, and the passion behind wine from a decidedly down-to-earth perspective, often exploring the quirky or controversial aspects of wine.
Alder lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.
