John Bookwalter
John Bookwalter is currently the president and winemaker for Bookwalter Winery is presently responsible for all winemaking activities, sales and marketing initiatives and strategic planning for the company.
John joined the family Winery in 1997 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arizona State University and a 10 year career in sales, sales management and marketing for such companies as the Gallo Wine Company, The WinterBrook Beverage Group and the Coors Brewing Company.
Since joining the family winery, John has held key positions within the wine industry and local community including serving as Vice President of the Washington Wine Institute, serving as a board member of Wine America, a Washington DC based advocacy group. John is currently the Vice Chair of the Washington Wine Commission as well as the Vice Chair of the Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau and is also an elected board member of the Tri-Cities Industrial Development Council.
